For your diabetes to be well controlled, your blood sugars need to be stable. The ideal range is between 4 and 7mmol/l.

Sometimes diabetics have problems controlling their blood sugars.

When your blood sugar is too high it puts you more at risk of oxidative stress which means that it takes the body longer to heal from illness and accidents than it normally would.

It also puts you at risk of heart disease which is the worst kind of complication. You are also at higher risk of other complications.

Read how aloe vera can help with diabetes below.

Aloe Vera is one of the most popular remedies for diabetes. Several studies have revealed that this plant contains hypoglycemic agents which reduce blood glucose levels, stimulating insulin secretion.

More than that, it purifies the body, accelerating the elimination of toxins and restores cells.

It also strengthens the immune system and improves blood circulation and digestion.

It stabilizes the blood sugar and reduces the risk of complications.  If you are controlling your diabetes by diet alone it will enable you to continue doing so.

Some people are put on various pharmaceutical drugs to help control their blood sugar. These can have unfortunate side effects which include nausea, upset stomach, diarrhea, weight gain and gas.

Not only that some type 2 diabetics may also need to go on insulin due to poor blood sugar control. Aloe vera can prevent this.

Low blood sugar can also be a problem as it can cause hypos. Normally a hypo can be treated with a dose of sugar or a sugary drink such as Coca Cola.

In serious cases some patients are given a glycogen injection which can bring them round. Aloe Vera also prevents the blood sugar from dropping too low.

So aloe vera and diabetes do go well together.

CAUTION: If you are taking insulin You must always monitor your blood sugars and make sure that you are not taking too much.

Please consult your doctor before making any changes to your medication.

It has been proven to help stabilize your blood sugar.

It is a good idea to try it as you should not get any side effects.

However with any natural product you need to give it time to work. 2-3 months is a good time frame as it can sometimes take a few weeks for your blood sugar to stabilize. It is not an overnight cure.

Always start off with a small dose and work your way up as it can bring out all the toxins in your body leaving you feeling tired and maybe going to the toilet a lot more.

It may taste horrible at first. (it has a very bitter taste), but over time you get used to it and as the toxins in your body decrease you may find that it tastes better.

Always take it on an empty stomach, preferably first thing in the morning.
